Our membership is still growing, and we are planning a meeting for September 7, 2008. This will be an informal meet and greet. About 4 of us are confirmed so far. Topics of discussion will be recent submissions and critiques, setting up a regular meeting schedule, and a proposal from 2 AU professors/authors to speak to us later this year.

Where: Books a Million Prattville, in the cafe area (I'll have something suitable and unmistakable on display so you won't have to hit up random strangers).

When: Sunday, September 7, 2008, 3 p.m. central time.
